YEA.103 – Follow-Up Skills

Follow-Up Skills can be done through common events, but I felt like this was a bit more natural (and there’s some things that are better off done via script than through common event). And so, this script’s made to ease that tediousness. Follow-Up Skills will only proc when the hit itself successfully lands, something that common events cannot detect without the aid of scripts. I made the decision to do this as it felt more natural for a follow-up skill chain to be interrupted or halted due to missing an attack.

    I’ve a dumb question since I am not used to see chain skills or follow up skills, can you explain to me what is the difference between them and your “input combo skills”, please ?

    I’ve another question, which script could I use to make a combo between to characters like in Chrono trigger and FF9 ?

  3. Hey Yanfly i have a favor to ask of you, i love your follow up skills but could tweak it a little like this? (its for my battle system and i don’t know how to do it).

    Currently follow up skills activate after the first skill, but i would like the whole turn to pass and then follow up skills to activate after the first skills are used.

    Is it possible? And if yes could you please do it ? thanks.
